I feel like these is way too little information in this article to judge one way or another.

If he made tons of money off the transactions then clearly he wasn’t just involved as an ‘open-source developer’.

The fact that it’s (apparently) only a bunch of crypto fanatics protesting doesn’t really help.

This would be like saying that the fact that it's only a bunch of hippies protesting useless wars doesn't really help.

Arresting someone for writing a program that wasn't illegal or sanctioned when he wrote it and doing it years after is just inexcusable, especially when you realize that no one got arrested when HSBC was found to be laundering cartel money.

The title should be "Developers, family protest arrest of Tornado Cash developer in Amsterdam", like in the article. The arrest is already known.

We've changed the title to that of the article. (Submitted title was "Tornado Cash developer arrested in Amsterdam".)
