When Linux was in its infancy, and Internationalization i18n didn't exist yet, I worked on a project to provide French names/errors/etc. The product was called LigneX (Line X) which sounds a lot like the name "Linux" with an accent.

I don't speak French, but I thought that was clever nonetheless.
