How sad that at a death, many think, "how can I profit from this"?

It happens in my family and I'm sure everyone else's, it's why there's always drama when someone dies. Who gets Grandpa's estate, who gets Grandma's money, Grandpa loved me more but he's not here to defend himself so I can just say whatever I want about Grandpa and you just have to believe it. Using their legacy to improve our status in the family, or their money.

A great deal of heartache has come from how this has happened in my family when my grandpa passed some 20 years ago. It's all behind me now but only recently, it took a long time to settle the affairs of his prior belongings.
