Idea: Suggester of Dating Ideas for Couples

Hi there!

I am starting my side hustle and came up with the idea of creating an app that would suggest ideas for dating with your partner. I've always faced that problem and feel like it's something I could try to solve.

Currently starting to build the app and at the same time checking the feasibility of the idea and would be happy to hear your opinions on that.

Have you ever faced the same problem? If so, what would you like to have in the app that solves it?

The only way I could see this working is if the app was more passive where the could save stuff in the app and discuss it.

For example say you found a really cool recipe on the web that you want to save and share, you would then share that link with the app and add relevant tags for category and time and place.

Later you also found a cool hangout spot that you'll want to go, share link to app, add tags and done.

Use Case:

Now you meet your partner and you have an hour together but don't know what to do ?

You can now open the app, sort for 1hr time and it shows all the things you both have wanted to do say cook a particular recipe or go to that place.

This could very well be achieved by any planning app or something similar but having a dedicated app would work who knows!

The best way to validate a idea is by doing it. So just do it. People should be shipping prototypes every 2-3 weeks. It shouldn't take you that long. Even if you're slow, you're shipping at latest in a month.

Could you maybe share some platforms with TA where I could test my prototypes?

I find it difficult to imagine a situation where such an app could be useful. If you don't want to do anything in particular but just want to spend time together, you could do nothing together - just make sure to put away all phones, apps and other distractions. What's the problem?

I really don't like it as an idea, and i certainly wouldn't pay for it.
