Your UberEats courier is (not) riding a bike

Multiple people sharing one account is a thing that happens. If lying about using a bike lets the delivery person bypass certain verification that's useful to people who are not using their own account.

I've observed this, but it doesn't bother me. I get it if it was for actually taking a ride, you'd want to match the driver and car. For food, if someone has my food, I don't really see any reason to dig further into it. What are you worried could happen?

I imagine my mom (who isn't super familiar with uber/etc.) getting really concerned that what the app says doesn't match what's happening in real life.

Imagine you're sitting outside, looking confused and waiting for your food to be delivered. Someone from a car asks you to approach their car, without providing any context of delivery/my name/etc. I've had this exact interaction many times, and I could imagine someone feeling unsafe in that kind of situation.
