Why does the Twitter business model have to be porn? Twitter celebrities with big audiences could monetize with premium follows and premium content. Political campaigns could use it to raise money. Tech bloggers could use it to post premium articles / videos.

Seems like a nice patron model, plugged into an already huge network. There are definitely twitter users I'd support via subscription right now, and none of them involved porn.
