This sounds too much like "my political enemies are mentally ill".
I mean yeah people are influenced negatively by social media, but those three guys in the title already had similar personalities a long time ago, and are probably not so online like the average person, because they have to run their empires.
Re-reading the piece, I have no idea what you mean. Of course they're on line. You can see it in their engagement with social media. The piece isn't about the quantity, how many hours a day. But a half hour a day would be enough. Glancing at feeds on the phone 10x a day for 2-3 minutes is plenty for the neurological effects to occur. Sitting on the toilet for 3 minutes 2x per day gives 6 easy minutes right there.
I believe the main point to be the common thread of increasingly infantile behavior in all of society that appears to be amplified by Twitter’s “engagement” circus.
