Or the difference between backups and replication. Replicate drop tables, there are no more tables.
Not necessarily in this instance, but non-zero people espouse "HA is too brittle and too complicated" to rationalize not putting in the work to ensure resiliency and instead double-down on shrug at operational excellence.
