The "you can't lean out of your window to hand over your paperwork" is an actual problem.

I would like to believe that the Tesla UX team did field research before doing their cab design, but it sounds like they might be graduates of the Jony Ive School of Design.

Maybe because the comfort of the driver is not a long term goal as they'll try to make them drive without drivers as soon as they can

This is probably just someone used to a certain design for 20 years and it suddenly changes.

Also, the number of people replying with variations on "you're just scared of change, you don't understand good design, being a trucker doesn't qualify you to comment on truck design" is really alarming.
