I agree with the general sentiment. But on specifics, I believe this is a list of sources that could be cited within Wikipedia articles to give legitimacy to the article's assertions. The reason Wikipedia is not on this list is because you wouldn't want to appear self-referential. Having said that, yes, I completely agree.
