If you ask chatGPT whether 2 + 2 is 4 or 5, would you consider it biased if it said that 2 + 2 = 4? If you asked it whether smoking increases or decreases the probability of developping cancer, would you consider it biased if it replied the former, rather than the latter?
Now, if some politicians of any party started saying that they think we should be open minded and don't be dogmatic insisting that 2 + 2 = 4, would that make chatGPT biased, then, if it continues giving the right answer? If they said that smoking is good for your health and increase your chances or living a longer and healthier life, would chatGPT be biased if it continued telling the truth? Are politicians the ones that decide what facts are true or false?
Scientific facts are not biased. Humans can be. Dishonest humans can easily be, for a price. But we should not change the replies of chatGPT about objective facts because of those humans, should we?
