I understand your point and would like to apologize, but at the same, I like to try unconventional ways to find a new position.

Are you looking into hiring someone?

Can you point me to the rule? I haven't read anything covering that case... (I couldn't reply to your comment below directly which is why I edited this comment (https://i.imgur.com/ktUXRoJ.png)).

Read the actual post at the top, please. Among other things, it says:

> Please only post if you personally are part of the hiring company

It also includes links for people, like you, who are looking to be hired.

Sorry, I didn't know that the user "whoishiring" was setting rules. Why wouldn't it be Dang setting the rules?

No wonder everything is turning cloudy.

If Dang is setting the rules as stated below by dang himself, why isn't it listed in the official rules? (sorry again HN doesn't allow me to reply).

Edit:

Here tmpburning: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26662154 @dang says ASCII art is strongly discouraged, as it leads to an arms race that makes the whole thread hard to read.

I assume posting self-promotional comments that are off-topic is even more against the spirit of this thread.
