As part of the 30-day Newsletter Challenge organized by Indie WorldWide, I'm challenging myself to grow a newsletter focused on the software-as-a-service (SAAS) industry.
SAAS Sunday is a weekly newsletter for founders and investors, providing you with select news, trends, and insights in the SAAS industry.
I want to make sure that SAAS Sunday is the best newsletter it can be, so if you have any feedback or suggestions, I’d love to hear from you. The next issue will come out this Sunday :)
Personally I think ‘SaaS’ is too broad a topic for a once a week newsletter and it doesn’t give me (or any potential subscriber) much context into what I should expect to see in my inbox each week.
I would suggest trying to get hyper-focused, so you reach a very specific and tight audience.
Off the top of my head here are some potential example topics - Weekly SaaS Case Studies, Weekly SaaS API News, Weekly SaaS Design Breakdown, Weekly SaaS Failutes/Shutdowns, Weekly MicroSaaS Spotlight, etc.
This is excellent feedback -- thank you for taking the time. I agree, I need to focus on defining a clearer/focused value prop. Will be working on that in the next few days!
