In my days we were inventing covert transistor (or ICs) radios for contacting remote helpers ) In the university we were strictly prohibited from using ANYthing. Except from our own handwritten lecture notes, on some rare occasions. I'm guessing it's a good intent to make students remember their material, but for me it was torture. While I would love to be able to use reference books and calculators on exams, the AI is an absolutely different game. I think it shouldn't be allowed on exams.
