I can show you many countries with high fertility rates where people do not even have the idea of stable employment or social benefits.

Then there are rich countries, great education, great child care facilities, government support and low fertility rates.

Rich people are busy complaining about not being able to have children. Poor people just have them.

Cat's out of the bag with family planning. If we want more kids we need to make it an option that doesn't impose severe economic penalties. You have one in America and childbirth alone can bankrupt you.

It does seem that "family planning" is often a euphemism for planning how to avoid having a family.
