How does Dynamic differ from ImmutableX's Passport^[0]? And why should someone use Dynamic over them?

I think we and ImmutableX are trying to tackle slightly different problems and can potentially work together vs compete.

You can think about Dynamic as a web3 auth0 - that is, we are a breadth-first company, tackling authentication, authorization and onboarding.

We integrate with branded self-custodial wallets such as Metamask and Phantom, as well with key management providers such as Magic.link and web3auth for invisible wallet creation.

The way I understand what ImmutableX does (and this is based on limited outside-in observations so if someone has been info please correct me), it is focusing on the wallet-creation part for onboarding. That is, if you don't have a wallet you generate one through their flow and I assume have an Immutable passport you can carry around apps as a branded wallet.

If my understanding is correct, ImmutableX can actually plug into Dynamic's email/social login, generating a passport instead of a wallet via a different key provider.

So in short, the reason you would chose Dynamic is to find an all-in-one user management platform where you can support everything, ranging from invisible/embedded wallets to branded ones, as well as go beyond auth into user management, analytics etc.
