It's useful so I doubt it's use will stop since the terms are so universal. A programmer will generally glancing over a page, pick up quickly on the area related to the syntax of a new program or command. If they don't get it right on something very important, it'll be half fubar instead, which is why it's always useful to have working examples also included as part of explanation.
