Ask HN: How are you investing in AI?

4 points| cobzilla | 2 years ago

It seems clear that we’re on the edge of a rapidly expanding bubble. There will likely be some big winners in the AI space.

This bubble seems different though, as AI seems to be poised to augment capabilities of existing companies vs generating another Google or Tesla.

Where to invest then? Will AI just make bigger companies bigger or are there clear opportunities for startups or smaller companies to rapidly grow?

Any unicorns or will all the benefits be realized at FAANG level companies?

Bought some Google. They have been taking it on the chin for being behind. Everyone said classic search is dead.

People have been speculating on the companies (tickers), AI, SOUN, and BBAI, but I don’t know enough about them.

Nvidia has been a winner but with a P/E of almost 150, it’s very expensive.

There's opportunities for big and small. AI democratizes itself to everyone, it's very egalitarian and equal opportunity.

That’s what it feels like. A sort of rising tide that will lift all boats. Though many boats will also sink… so there’s that.
