Hi HN. Fiolet lets startups to start accepting payments in cryptocurrency. We've talked to both sellers and buyers about their experiences with paying for something in cryptocurrencies. Some buyers lost money during the payment process, while others didn't have control over their funds because they would end up at the address of their "crypto bank." We also tried using these tools ourselves to understand why they were built this way and what we could improve. As a result, we created Fiolet and made several changes to approach these issues in a different way.
For merchants, we have enabled payments to go directly into your self-custody wallet. This allows you to avoid hidden fees and withdraw limits.
For buyers, we have made the payment process as convenient as possible. Simply connect your web3 wallet, select your payment method, and click Pay button. This process eliminates the human factor, making errors impossible.
Under the hood, we have our own tricky payment identification system that allows us to avoid using third-party smart contracts (which are constantly being hacked) and temporary wallets (resulting in 2-3x network fees).
It would be great if you could try integrating crypto payments, and look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions!
