It's even more naive to follow arbitrary rules in hope those rules came from some god and hoping that your way in believing is the right way.

If there is ever a god I will either go to 'heaven' (why would I want that though?!) or that god can fuck itself.

I'm good to others I don't need to pray. And funny enough I bet there are plenty of god worshippers who had kids who died and no prayer made a difference while in parallel there are other people who believe their prayers were heard and got a good grade at school or whatever.
