If Apple wants to pursue a Mac comeback, it ought to do two things:
1) Stop destroying the Mac Presence by making it look and act like a iPhone.
2) Re-evaluate the direction of macOS. Under Federighi's leadership, macOS has become bloated with obscure, useless features and technologies. This has been at the expense of advancing its core technologies like wkWebKit.
In summary macOS suffers from uninspired and distant leadership.
