Show HN: From PHP to Python – A Straight-to-the-Point Guide

Hello everyone!

After two years of hard work, I'm excited to announce the release of my first book, "From PHP to Python". As developers, it can be frustrating to learn a new language from scratch. This is why I wrote this book to help PHP developers quickly learn Python by focusing on what's different and taking shortcuts when things are similar. It's written in a straight-to-the-point style and the chapters are concise and condensed. The book covers everything needed in my opinion to have solid foundations in Python, in a web-oriented approach. After finishing this book, you will be able to use Python at work, write unit tests, publish an open-source package, and contribute to interesting projects.

This project is not about criticizing PHP: I still work with both languages and I think it's great to be able to use different tools and paradigms.

Two free sample chapters are available: Working with regexes (https://einenlum.com/books/fromphptopython/sample-chapters/r...) and Match case (https://einenlum.com/books/fromphptopython/sample-chapters/m...).

I hope this book can be useful to some curious developers out there. I think I managed to make the book I wish I had when I started learning Python.

I would love to get your feedback on my project, whether it's about the Table of Contents or the content itself. The book will be regularly updated with new PHP and Python versions, and I will try to make it better thanks to all the remarks from the readers.
