Ask HN: World news aggregator similar with TechMeme

I stopped reading the news about a year ago and I constantly feel that I miss the important stuff happening outside technology e.g. Ukrainian war news, wildfires, etc.

I don’t want to invest time going through different media sources so a simple aggregator similar to TechMeme would do the trick for me: I can quickly browse top headlines and click if I want to read more.

I looked into some sources but most of them were focusing almost entirely on US politics.
