I really hope that once people start seeing more AI generated images they get the urge to move back to natural photography. Maybe this will even inspire people to go retro and consider film. When I look at older photos taken with a camera and film I think about all the work it took to get that shot. The travel, the gear, the waiting for the right light. Brings a smile to my face.

There's pleasure to be had in mastering a craft, especially so when it offers challenges, when it offers an avenue for personal expression -- the age old tension between journey and destination (the photograph).

A real photograph is a vista into the soul of a photographer and the photograph becomes a means for people to connect. A means for a photographer to feel seen, to show what he or she sees or feels.
