Thanks, not everyone is plugged into twitter, I'm not though I like many others do read links to tweets when posted - I mod at a forum that has a policy on links not too unlike HN, so bye bye twitter unless there's some sort of rethink. It's going to suck for all the interesting things previously posted to twitter though.

It’s not like a free account gave you much ability to browse the site anyway. And Instagram is doing exactly the same.
