"Temporarily" my ass. It took me literally less than half an hour to reach the ridiculous 600 tweet limit.

Today has just been bonkers. First Reddit actually being dumbass enough to kill off the third party clients, now Musk is killing off Twitter.

Definitely a hit to the reputation of the developers at twitter if he's being honest. It ought to be trivial to determine whether an account is scraping or not. Facebook had pretty sophisticated anti-scraping tools that I ran into when I was scraping like a decade ago.

Shows an EXTREME lack of creativity when ANY solution is to basically shut down the website.

Perfect way to get people to seriously start looking for alternatives.

Elon being ableist in his last reply, telling people to touch grass if they get rate limited.
