Ask HN: How and where do you get users for your MVP?

I'm building a web app that helps businesses increase their sales and brand awareness by finding relevant, highly viewed Reddit discussions for them to engage with.

For this kind of lower ticket/simple product, what methods have you used and found work best to get initial users?

I'm currently focused on cold outreach and Reddit, but wondering whether to simply pitch the product with a link to sign up, or try to get them on a call given the early stage of the product (or both).
