Ask HN: Recommended resources for learning blockchain as a Rust engineer

I'm searching for a Rust engineering role and recognize that a lot of roles involve blockchains. I have ~3 years of Rust experience and over 20 years experience in software engineering.

I'd like to start learning the fundamentals about blockchains and would like some recommendations for learning resources including books.

My recommendation: don't. Do something good for the world instead.

But if you do, start with the bitcoin whitepaper. It reads fairly easy for those with backgrounds in compsci.
