For one, you don't know what you regret until it happens. Regret is unavoidable, unlike the author's assertion that it is a choice.
Two, we grow as we make mistakes (or successes). Avoiding a human emotion is just a bizarre take.
May as well have a tech blogger say "don't feel bad, feeling bad makes you feel bad". Not very useful, even less insightful, and frankly just bad advice.
