I've re-read the comment to which you're replying a couple of times to make sure I didn't missing something myself. AFAICT, they weren't questioning the existence of people who cannot afford PCs or gaming consoles (the thrust of your reply). They were expressing surprise at the idea, possibly widespread, that merely owning a PC or a gaming console constituted some sort of surefire path to generating income for their owner.
