People can travel now, they can shop in person, they can eat out and drink at bars, they can attend shows.. there are a lot more things competing for their dollar. Combined with the ending of government largesse, this isn't really all that surprising.

Of course it isn't surprising, but it is important to note when you combine it with the other news about debt hitting $1T and continuing to go up.
