Ask HN: Where do I get bank card BINs?

Hi.

I manage a tiny online shop. We process cards using Stripe.

We've been hit by a bunch of disputes. Reason stated - cardholder didn't authorise the charge. However we've always required 3DS on all payments and in theory it protects us from fraud related disputes. Mastercard network shouldn't have even allowed these disputes in the first place. But they still count towards the limit.

All of these come from the same bank. We want to ban this bank entirely, but Stripe apparently won't share BIN of the cards that were used on our site.

I've seen a couple of sites that sell this kind of databases, but the price is pretty high in $1,500 range, and we only need BIN's for a single bank, not all of them. Is there a better way to go about this?
