I would like to suggest anyone already into Boards of Canada to check out their demo tapes ("Old Tunes" and "Random 35 Tracks") which are on YouTube.

They are some of the earliest BoC tracks and probably sound the most like the namesake.

Their “soceitas x tape” is a great listen as well. Especially the unidentified tracks which are presumably unreleased songs of theirs.
