Show HN: Building a Fashion Search Engine. Need Feedback

Hi all - I'm building a Fashion Search Engine called FashionFeed (http://fashionfeed.app). I want to solve my own problem of not seeing clothing models that look like me on shopping sites. So I made a feed where you can filter by Ethnicity, Gender, Age, Height, Weight. If you see a photo you like, you can click into it and see the outfit product links.

I feel like this may be a better way to shop, than going to a site like Shein or Zara, and just being overwhelmed with options.

Looking for any feedback on this & ways I can improve please!

Are hacker types these days more fashionably dressed? Back in my day it was a common stereotype for people to show up in a hoodie or shorts and a tee.

Lol I looked at those samples on the website and wouldn't even know what to call most of the clothing I see. All I see is "oh that guy is trying to be cool" or "the rapper look" or "Watch Dogs NPC".

Has it changed much?

Edit: OP, I think it's really cool that you've built something so different! I have no knowledge or interest in fashion, but the site feels a bit like walking through a virtual museum of international culture. Kinda fun to poke around and see how people present themselves around the world.

Thanks for the feedback! The samples are quite limited so understand what you mean. Eventually would like to have Brands signup and post Photos of all walks of life (every Ethnicity, Age, Gender, Height) including hackers! :)
