GPT-3 bots have been a thing for a while, and have been discussed here on HN heavily -- long before Chat-GPT was a thing.

And if you don't think nation-state level actors have had those for a while now, to include the US, China, India, Iran, Israel, et al, then I have a bridge to sell you.

It's more the international jobs impacts I'm concerned about in that case
