This was my favorite area of study when going for my PhD in EE. I decided to drop out for unrelated reasons and went into software eng. I tried to find some gigs that would allow me to pursue this + software, but convenience always won out and it never happened. Skimming this book makes me want to pick it up as a hobby again. Looks like a really, nice hands on treatment, thanks!
