A Flesh-Eating Bacterium Is Creeping North as Oceans Warm

Jeeze I remember this killing an older man[1] on the Garden Route coast in South Africa while visiting said area.

According to the news releases at the time it needs the perfect mix of sea and fresh water at specific temperatures.

We opted to swim kilometers from river mouths to be safer.
