Lol, you're experiencing what's called "crimestop" the automatic tendency to stop thinking when anything encroaches on the orthodoxy you've been fed. Why does it "sound harmful"? Because it contradicts the covid propaganda that's been pushed on you, or because there is a real first principles problem with it? If it's the latter, cool, let's hear it.
