I wrote this article to help you get better at talking to users. It's a core skill you need to develop to be successfull and which you shouldn't be quick to outsource.

Interviewing users is both a science and an art and it takes time to get good at it. However, I believe you can get 80% of the insights you need to get started with 20% of the skill of a professional interviewer.
