I have recently started following Indiehackers so, my understanding may not make much sense.

I am an overthinker, easily get into analysis paralysis and put away the project. Reading stories on indiehackers and similar websites has helped me in just getting started with a simple tasks that add up to a big feature instead of over analysing how the fully finished product will work with my current approach getting stuck there.

I have made progress, that I have not with other side-projects that I was interested in. I pick 1-2 features to work on, on weekends and focus on them, while also keeping the bigger picture in mind.
