They don’t sell your data, they just barter with it.

I emailed them some months ago when this was last posted, asking if the service could be used without installing the app.

They said no, and still don't provide that option. I guess whatever it takes to get you to install their app so they can harvest and sell your data.

So you can use the app to opt out of this stuff? Seems like good ux
