Hamas would be disappointed to hear that. They were very proud of it. They promoted it on video and their leadership has promised repeats.
They don't want it forgotten. They just want everyone to think that Israel is overreacting to the mutilation, rape, and murder of 1400 people (plus over 200 hostages, including one under four months old).
Why go to all that trouble if people are just going to deny it?
