I’m a big fan of point n click adventures.

Graphics are great, so either a talented team or someone very talented, but you have to wade thru 40 mins of exposition before starting the first chapter (you don’t have to but then what about the lore?)

I feel like I've explored thoroughly, and I don't have any more white "To Visit" dots on the map, but the menu still says "14/17" next to explore, and I haven't found the third bestiary entry. Does anyone know what (if anything) I might be missing? Or is it incomplete?

If you're having as much trouble as I was figuring out what the heck this project is, it's a series of YouTube videos depicting stories about The Woods where the music and animatics are done by the same guy. Dunno why they didn't just post the content: https://youtu.be/JxEAaeiyuZo?si=AGP_nx6I8Td5mFF9

The art is excellent, the music is good, but it's kind of let down by the narration.

I much rather watch the video embedded in it's intended home rather than surrounded by lady gaga thumbnails or whatever.

I really enjoyed it, and hope the other 'books' get made - it's impressive for mostly just one guy - almost a full movie and very polished.

Was Myst the first game of this style, or was it just the first game that I became familiar with it?

Check out the old LucasArts catalog... it's a large part of what created the genre and has some pretty great games.

It's antecedent "The Manhole" might be. It was point n click hypercard stack.

Reminds me deeply of the King's Quest series.
