Is there an AI app that can scan my room and give me different designs based on some text input of my choosing? Pinterest for such ideas is great but I'd like to see it in the context of my space.

Interesting. It looks like an AI version of Modsy (https://www.modsy.com/), which did the same thing with humans and went bankrupt.
