Ask HN: How to extract data from insulin pump?

Hi HN,

I need to export data from an insulin pump omnipod dash in order to import in the medical tracking website https://www.mydiabby.com/.

The standard procedure is to use the proprietary app to proceed. My friend has type 1 diabetes and she is trying to "close the loop" with open-source AAPS.

Is there someone that could point me to the right way of proceeding ?

I was thinking of using Wireshark to sniff the messages and recreate another app. Also if there are people interested, I will share the code if I succeed.
