Show HN: Containerlab.app – drag'n'drop Docker IDE for easy container dev

My buddy and I have been in software for a while and we’ve seen how tedious it can get to spin up multi-container projects. Whether it’s a pre-packaged open source app like n8n or AppSmith, or if it’s a more complex self-hosted project that needs a DB, a VPN, and a reverse proxy - it’s always a mission to get it spun up. You can end up spending days looking up documentation, drafting compose files, tweaking little properties here and there, and then not even get to a fully functional setup.

We wanted to build a platform that lets you literally drag and drop preset containers into a project, and then just have it work. No fuss, no documentation lookup, just quick and easy container dev. And then we’re also building in some extra goodies like one-click deployments, exporting to a compose file, and a community platform for sharing projects.

If this sounds interesting to you, head over to our website at https://containerlab.app . We’re accepting emails in preparation for our closed beta which we’re planning on having up and running early next year.

We’re keen to hear feedback on the platform, so leave a comment!
