As a mechanical engineer between jobs with a lot of interest in computer science, and a little less than halfway through my career I find myself needing new skills to stay competitive.

Some thoughts I’ve had are:

R programming Project management professional CompTIA certs 3D CAD Certs Amazon web services Python Satellite communications Robotics Blockchain C++

Really not sure where to focus right now and would love some input and feedback about what’s in demand. I’ve enjoyed following HN for many years even if a lot of the posts are over my head I still find it fascinating.
