The concept of truth has always been fuzzy when it comes to politics. When was there are stable time for the concept of truth in politics? The entire political system of ads, media, speeches, etc are full of misrepresentations, outright lies or lies by omission.

I guess washingtonpost is upset because historically it was the job of washingtonpost, foxnews, msnbc, nytimes, etc to destabilize the concept of truth. But they shouldn't fret. They should view AI as a tool rather a competitor.

Politicians fly close to the flame and we don't hold them to account. They will say something truly awful and when something bad happens or there is fall out, claim that they didn't expect anyone to take them literally.
