Hex: 2001:db8:abcd:efab::1

Decimal: 32.1.13.184.171.205.239.171.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.1

Hex looks easier to me. Plus it has the upside of splitting well on /64, /60, /56, /48, /32 which are the common cidr splits in IPv6.

Can you split the decimal on a /56 in your head? I always have to use a cidr calculator for IPv4 (/27, /28, /22) but never with IPv6.
