Fortunately I think the author knows, like Feynman, that he's wrong,
and for more or less the same reasons. that's what makes it poetic.
Just as nuclear bombs exposed the futility of total war, "AI" is most
likely going to expose the tragic pointlessness of so much of our
digital technology. Maybe just in time.
As Red Adair [0] figured out, often a great way to put out a fire is
throw a bloody great bomb into the middle of it.
